Manager Control & Compliance, Business Management Unit (ref. KW/TSY-CCBMU/XXX)
Responsibilities:
Project, Administration and System Support
Assist to test the New Treasury System
Support Treasury sales activities by providing them with the pre-defined report/information
Review all bank's related operational risk policies including Treasury Manual which covers key activities ALM and Sales to ensure that Treasury business reflects best practice
Perform root cause analysis on identified risk events to recommend improvements to prevent future risk events re-occurrence.
Assist Treasury desk heads with the identification of key risk indicators in their business units
Assist team lead in preparing reports to the Operational risk forum, collation and submission of performance metrics data, Loss event reporting.
Assess escalated email control monitoring cases and provide appropriate responses to the independent unit in consultation with Treasury desk heads.
Perform monitoring checks and controls.
Provide support for Treasury on audit and compliance
Provide support for the implementation of ad-hoc compliance projects
Requirements:
University degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines
Minimum 3-5 years' hands-on experience in banking
Bachelor in Computing and Networking
Proficient in MS Office included VBA
Strong treasury product knowledge and controls and other support function knowledge
Significant work experience in regulatory, compliance, operational risk based roles within financial services environment would be a bonus.
Good knowledge of banking regulation, especially relating to treasury
Good organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; Meticulous and detail oriented;
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to produce concise and effective presentations and documents
Ability to work in a team environment and coordinating with a number of stakeholders
In collaboration with relationship managers and sales teams in growing new and deepening existing client relationships by identifying and delivering a full range of Treasury Solutions including hedging and wealthy management products
Achieve assigned treasury sales targets by driving growth and increasing product penetration into different client segments and sales platforms
Educate, train and support other sales colleagues on Treasury Solutions to facilitate greater referral generation
Follow through the entire sales process - from sales, execution, pricing and follow up on documentation and trade issues
Actively support Treasury product development as well as participate in regular operating model and work processes review for better productivity, operations efficiency and controls
Ensure full compliance with control measures as well as policies and produces by participating and contributing to the regular review of operating model and work processes
Requirements:
University degree holder with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Treasury Sales and Marketing roles from renowned financial institutions
Passed HKSI Examinations and are qualified under SFO in handling regulated activities Types 1, 7 and 8
Extensive business network and connection preferred
Independent, self-motivated and is ready to roll up his/her sleeves
Assertive and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
