Yes! Vehicle registered owner who has already signed up for the account of “iAM Smart+” with digital signing function, may apply online licence renewal via “GovHK”. For details, please refer to the information and to do list from GovHK website.
For those who cannot apply self-online licence renewal, please prepare all necessary documents and submit to our Bank. We shall bring all along with the Original Vehicle Registration Document (“VRD”) to Transport Department for the renewal process.
The Bank will generally send the licence renewal reminder by mail to customer 90 days before the vehicle licence expiry day.

Form TD129 is applicable for retention of registration mark and you may choose to have your vehicle re-registered with a new registration mark randomly assigned by Transport Department, or a registration mark retained or auctioned by you. If you would like to assign a retained/auctioned mark to your vehicle and surrender the mark currently on the vehicle, please complete TD148. Your particular attention is drawn that the original mark on the vehicle would be cancelled and if you would like to retain this mark, please use TD129. You should read carefully information on the forms before submission, so as to confirm your application details;
Customer may seek for the assistance from any of the insurance companies offering vehicle insurance service to ask for quotation and do the renewal as our Bank has no insurance selling service. The insured amount of the new insurance policy must not less than the outstanding amount of the loan account. Upon the renewal, please send us the renewed cover note via fax or email for the use of recording and vehicle licence renewal.

Customer may call 2281 9888 to enquire about the settlement amount and make an appointment OR grab a ticket at Auto & Equipment Finance Operations office in Shau Kei Wan and wait to be served. Under normal situation, all processes should be done within 45 minutes.
If customer prefers to collect all the vehicle documents instantly upon settlement, customer should pay by cashier order (along with cashier order issuing receipt or choose to make direct transfer at any branches of OCBC Bank and bring the receipt to our office. Please be aware the original vehicle registration document CANNOT be collected on the same day if paying by cheque as minimum 4 working days are required for cheque clearing
In order to protect the individual's right to privacy with respect to personal data and due to the settlement interest may vary by time, we highly recommend the registered owner to call our customer service team by 2281 9888 for identity verification and the latest quotation.
For normal early settlement, except the prescribed remaining principal and interest, the breakdown shall have all other expenses set out on the signed agreement, including but not limited to the Option Fee and Early Settlement Penalty, etc. For settlement case with overdue record, all late charges and expenses incurred (if any) shall be repaid upon settlement.
Pursuant to the Agreement, customer has the option to purchase the financed vehicle from the Bank by paying the Option Fee (Accumulated late charges and handling fees are required to pay together, if any) then choose the document collection method.

Document Collection Method:

2) Borrower shall bring along the original HKID card (Person who signed the agreement shall bring along the Company chop and original HKID card for Corporate borrower) to our office OR authorize a 3rd party with signed authorization letter* (signature withCompany chop are required for Corporate borrower

No matter normal settlement or early termination, the Option fee itself is the fee that legally transfers ownership from the finance company to the customer. Once the option fee is paid, the legal title of the vehicle will pass from our Bank to the customer. It is customary in the hire purchase business to offer such option to the Hirer to purchase the vehicle with the Option fee, but until such payment the vehicle shall remain the sole property of our Bank.
It has been explicitly listed and set out both on the Hire Purchase/ Lease agreements (Clause 15 of the T&C) and the Bank Services Fee Guide for customer's reference.

You may complete the Direct Debit Authorization Form, send the form to us / your banker to arrange the autopay to repay your monthly repayment.

Please make sure your repayment is made before the cut-off time. All repayment made after the cut-off time, on Sunday or Public Holiday, will be processed on next business day.

You may make cash/cheque payment directly to any branch counter of us or drop the cheque in the drop in box with your vehicle registration number / loan account number write on the back of the cheque to repay your monthly repayment.
