Functional Buttons

Buttons (1st row)

Functions
power button

To turn on/off the device, press and hold the Power button for one second above the “1” button.

minus button

To reduce volume, press the “–“ button above the “2“ button.
plus button

To increase volume, press the “+“ above the “–“ button.
reset button

To repeat, press the replay button above the “3“ button.

Button (Number pad)

To key in numbers in the Voice Security Token, press the number button from 0 to 9 on the number pad.

The number pad is 4 rows by 3 columns. The top row has numbers “1“, “2“ and “3“, second row has “4“, “5“, and “6“, and third row has “7“, “8“, and “9“. The bottom row has the “0“ in the middle. The number “5“ has a tactile dot to indicate.

Button (Bottom row)

To backspace/cancel, press the C button on the left of the “0“ button.

ok button

To confirm, press the OK button on the right of the “0“ button.

 

Activating Voice Security Device

  1. Visit www.ocbc.com.hk and login to OCBC Bank Internet Banking.

  2. After login, select “Other Services” and then “Activate Security Device” from top menu.

  3. Input the 10-digit serial number printed at the back of the Device, no need to input the “-“ into the field. You may also turn on the device, press “3 Settings” from the menu, then press “5 About” from Settings. The device will read the Serial Number after Firmware version. 

  4. Please input 1st and 2nd digit in the first input field, 3rd to 8th digit in the second input field, and input the 9th and 10th digit in the third input field. Click “Submit”.

  5. Input SMS-OTP and click “Submit”.

  6. Activation completed.

Generate OTP

  1. Press “1“ to select OTP in the main menu.

  2. Input the code generated from the token in internet banking and click “Submit”.

Transaction signing

  1. Press “2“ to select Sign in the main menu.

  2. Input the key mentioned in Internet Banking into the Token and press “OK”.

  3. Input the code generated from the token in internet banking and click “Submit”.

Playback Speed

  1. Press “3“ to select Settings in the main menu.

  2. Press “1“ to select Playback speed in the Settings menu.

  3. Press “1“ (slowest) to “9“ (fastest) to select the Playback speed.

Backlight

  1. Press “3“ to select Settings in the main menu.

  2. Press “2“ to select backlight in the Settings menu.

  3. Press “1“ (dark) to “9” (bright).

Language

  1. Press “3“ to select Settings in the main menu.

  2. Press “3“ to select Audio Language in the Settings menu.

  3. Press “1“ for English, press “2“ for Cantonese, press “3“ for Mandarin.

Battery

Please install 3 3A batteries at the back of the token.

Remarks

“2” OTP 2 in the Main Menu is a new function to be released soon which is currently not in use. In case you click into OTP2, you may click “C” button to back to Main Menu.
