e-Cheque Services

e-Cheque is an electronic counterpart of paper cheque. It turns the cheque writing and deposit processes totally online. Paying with e-Cheque will be an entirely paperless experience and it helps protect the environment.

e-Cheque Issuance

To enjoy e-Cheque issuance service, customer is required to maintain an eligible current account and register for Internet Banking with non-registered third party account transfer service. e-Cheque signing authority should be setup for corporate customers beforehand.

Log onto Internet Banking and go to "eCheque" under "Account Services"

Input details of e-Cheque and select signing group(s) and signer(s)

Submit e-Cheque to signer(s) for approval

Corresponding signer(s) approve(s) the e-Cheque with Two Factor Authentication

e-Cheque issuance is completed, customer can download and deliver the e-Cheque to the payee by electronic means

e-Cheque Deposit

Customers can deposit e-Cheque to OCBC Bank accounts (including bank accounts and credit cards) through the e-Cheque Drop Box Service provided by Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited. The cut-off time for e-Cheque Drop Box Service is 5:30p.m. from Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

eStatement & eAdvice Service

To encourage green living and paper saving, OCBC Bank introduces eStatement & eAdvice Service, enabling eBanking customers to view, print and download account statements and advices2 via Internet Banking. Enjoy this secure and convenient service and protect the environment.

  1. Please apply for the Security Device by visiting any one of our branches.
  2. The service includes statements of Current Account, Statement Account, Multi-currency Statement Account, Overnight Plus Account, Integrated Account, Elite Gold Banking, Investment Account, Securities Account, Daily Activities of Investment Account, Contract Note, Consolidated Share Trading Advice and Receipt, Securities Receipt and Credit/Debit Advice, Confirmation of Structured Deposit, Daily Activities of Structured Deposit Account as well as statements of Credit Card, Revolving Credit, e-Money Loan Card and CASH Card, etc.
  3. Only applicable to eBanking customers and the relevant account(s) should be added to the eBanking service.
  4. Customers are required to install Adobe Reader and Chinese Traditional Font Pack on personal computers in order to view, print and download the eStatement & eAdvice in PDF format.
  5. Personal customers could register to "Discontinue Paper Statement & Advice" through Internet Banking while corporate customers should register via any of our branches. The instruction will become effective within 3 working days. Customers who wish to resume receiving paper statement and advice may visit any of our branches for registration.
  6. Free email notification is only applicable to customers who have registered to "Discontinue Paper Statement & Advice".
